Benjamin Franklin wasn't the first to notice that a tiny change can make a big difference. Proverbs, rhymes, and sayings like this are found throughout the world. And yet in our city, small tasks go undone every day. Thousands of small jobs add up to big changes for our community and for you.

When you become a CityTasker, you will get an alert every time one of these small tasks comes up. The tasks vary, and you can set filters so you only see the tasks you might want. Some tasks can be reserved, allowing you to demonstrate your commitment by showing up on time. Other tasks are open to anyone who shows up, allowing you to check the weather and your energy levels before you decide to join the team. Some tasks may seem trivial, but remember that nail in the rhyme. The kingdom could have been saved if someone had delivered a few nails at the right moment.

But CityTasks aren't just about being of service. They also benefit you. Every time you do a CityTask, you receive volunteer credits that can be used to rent a CityDorm.

Admittedly, a CityDorm isn't glamorous. It's less than 90 square feet with a bed platform, a toilet, a sink, a handheld shower, and a locking door. But it's private and it's yours. Think of it like a blank canvas awaiting your personal touches. Within the walls of your CityDorm, you can manage your life as you wish, with no one breathing down your neck and judging your choices. Friends, children, and pets are your business, no one else's. It can be used as a home, an office, a private study, or for any other legal behavior. As long as you pay your weekly rent and don't bother your neighbors, you are welcome to stay as long as you want.
